Meet the passionate team working to bring clean, affordable solar energy to communities across Sub-Saharan Africa.
Sol Kanea was founded with a clear and compelling vision: to ensure that no community in Sub-Saharan Africa is left in the dark. The journey began when our founder experienced firsthand the transformative impact of solar energy in rural Ghana—not just as a power source, but as a catalyst for opportunity, dignity, and growth. Today, we are developing innovative, technology-driven solutions that combine advanced solar systems with community-led distribution models. Our mission is to make clean, reliable energy both accessible and affordable for underserved households, lighting the path toward a more equitable, sustainable future.
Every solution we develop starts with understanding the unique needs of the communities we serve.
We leverage cutting-edge technology to create scalable, sustainable energy solutions.
We believe in creating local jobs and building technical expertise within communities.
Our diverse team brings together expertise in solar technology, community development, and sustainable business practices.
